G20 Hangzhou Summit Prescribes For The Recovery Of World Economy
The 11th G20 Summit will be held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang on September 4 and 5. It displays the high degree of trust from international community and the sincere hope of China to make contributions to the international community.

When world economy is still lack of vigor, as host country this year, China set it as the theme of Hangzhou G20 summit that “Towards an Innovative, Invigorated, Interconnected and Inclusive Global Economy”, will raise forward-looking and innovative conception of policy for the creation of the mode of economic development, improvement of the financial governance of global economy, promotion of international trade and investment, and pushing forward interconnected and inclusive development. What’s more, China will work with relevant parties to prescribe the world for economic recovery and act collectively to resolve prominent problems that countries are facing at large, take further steps to prevent and dissolve risks and lead the direction of the development of world economy together with other countries.

Since the beginning of this year, when the growth of world economy continue to slow down, China has been keeping creating modes of macro-control and reforming economic structure, ensuring stable economic growth. Over the first half of this year, China’s growth rate, 6.7%, was among the fastest of major economies, manifesting that China is still the engine of world economy. Meanwhile, there are still some difficulties and problems in China’s economy, with mounting downward pressure, relatively serious excessive manufacture capacity, daunting task of deepening reform and economic restructure. But the problems mentioned above are just annoyance in growth. In general, the fundamentals of China’s economy hasn’t changed. Our economy is operating within an appropriate range. Positive factors supporting real economy is accumulating. And there is still potential of domestic demand to tap and space to use or create tools of macro-control. As policies, targeted at stabilizing economic growth, pushing forward structural reform, motivating vigor of market by mass entrepreneurship and innovation, benefiting people’s livelihood and preventing risks, set out and take effects, China has capabilities and conditions to fulfill the goals of development for the whole year and make great contributions to the recovery of world economy.

“Calm is the tide and the banks are broad, gentle is the wind and the sail is stretching.”China will inject new positive energy into global economic governance. We strongly believe that with joint efforts of countries, the forthcoming G20 Hangzhou Summit will surely be an important opportunity for the recovery of world economy. And the economy of China will inevitably maintain a good momentum to stabilize and make more contributions to the growth of world economy.
