Al-Jazeera has released a teaser of the documentary titled “Stealing Paradise”.
The 11 second video shows footage of RajjeTV station burning and excerpts from an interview with former auditor general Niyaz Ibrahim. Niyaz is seen saying “how could they do this”. He was probably referring to the government.
Some people believe that, the documentary will also show footage where VTV station was attacked and burned by the angry MDP crowd on 7th February 2012 after MDP asked to burn VTV Station openly at their Party Podium. Both Rajje TV and VTV incidents happened in the same period.
Al-Jazeera so far has not indicated when they are going to release the full documentary.
