Al-Jazeera will not say anything new, they will repeat the same things, because the same people are behind it – MP Mubeen

MP for Billleiydhoo constituency Ahmed Mubeen have said that Al-Jazeera will not say anything new about the Maldives in their documentary 'Stealing Paradise'. Mubeen said that, they will repeat the same things because the same people are behind this documentary as well.

Mubeen said that, the documentary is being produced by former employees of MDP office. He added that this documentary will not reveal anything that will surprise the Maldivians.

He said that the purpose of this is to make Maldives a secular country that tolerates all religions. However, he said that this will not be allowed in the Maldives.

“Look carefully. Do the opposition parties have any relations with Islamic countries? No they don’t. Their allies are non-Muslim countries who are enemies of Islam. It is a strong evident what they are doing.” Said Mubeen.

'Stealing Paradise', a documentary produced by former staffs of MDP tabloid Maldives Independent is scheduled to air sometime today.
