Vice President Jihaad have said that the International Monetary Fund believes that Maldives is the fastest developing island nation in the world.
Vice President Jihaad who has served as the Finance Minister for three administrations, said that a delegation of IMF who met him recently told him that they believe Maldives is the fastest developing island nation.
Jihaad said that the country will financially develop when everyone in the country works toward that goal. He asked everyone to cooperate with the government to achieve financial development.
He further said that foreign investments and interest free loans are needed to develop the economy of the country. He said that steps need to be taken to make that happen.
He added that it is important for the people to cooperate with the government in achieving this goal. He asked people to refrain from spreading lies about the government and the country.
