Keeping a beard is a basic human right and a religious right – Sheikh Sameer

Jammiyyathuh Salaf has published a poster with a quote of Sheikh Sameer, which says that keeping a beard is a human right and a religious right.

Jammiyyathuh Salaf conducted similar activities even before. But now they have started again after some immigration officers were fired for refusing to trim or shave their beards.

A religious scholar said that, if Muslim youth are not granted these basic rights of the religion the condition of the society will get worse. He said that several countries have experienced this in the past and even at present.

“When the youth are disappointed like that, then they will turn more radical, then we will witness scary and destructive acts by them, this is not something I am saying but something that some countries are going through now” said the scholar.
