Progressive Party of the Maldives PPM have said that, part president Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom will always work within the constitution.
PPM released a short statement saying that they assure that Maumoon will not engage in any unlawful activities. PPM released this at a time, when former President Nasheed have said that Maumoon will be part of an interim government formed by the coalition.
Nasheed also said that members of PPM opposing Maumoon is wrong and that is a reason why an interim government should be formed.
Earlier today Mamoon tweeted advising everyone to work within the constitution.
