Tourism Ministry have decided to hold a conference to promote Maldives this month. This will be the largest conference of this kind.
An announcement from the Ministry says that they have planned a conference to promote Maldives as part of the activities that are going to be held to promote Tourism Day.
The conference will be held on 27-28 of this month in Dharubaaruge. In the first day top figures in the tourism industry will meet while on the second day discussions will be held on how to market and advertise Maldives.
In the first day, senior figures of the industry will discuss on ways to further develop the industry and will give ideas to government policy makers.
Foreign experts will also take part in the conference. Representatives from airlines, PR firms and social media experts will take sessions in the conference.
According to the tourism ministry the most important item on the agenda would be to plan how to promote Maldives in 2017.
