World tourism industry’s “Oscar award” ceremony to be held in the Maldives
It will be a big honour for the Maldives to host the grand finale of “World Travel Awards 2016”.
This event will be attended by the pioneers of the tourism industry. The President of World Travel Awards, Graham Cook also said that he will take part in the ceremony held in the Maldives. “It will be a great honour for me to travel to the Maldives to take part in the grand finale” said Graham.
He also said that Maldives is the perfect destination in the world to hold such an event and that this will be the most successful event held by WTA in their history.
“Even now we are getting ready for this. All our nominees will be welcomed with a red carpet in the Maldives. We are making all the arrangements for this”
The event will be held at Sun Shiyam Olhuveli Resort on 2nd December 2016. This event is expected to further promote the Maldivian tourism industry.
The fact that such an important event is being held in the Maldives if proof that the policies of President Yameen Abdul Gayyoom is working. Also it shows that our tourism industry is in capable hands.
