Male Water and Sewerage company has been contracted to make the sewerage system in Seenu Hithadhoo. The total cost of the project is 109 million Rufiyaa.
The contract was signed at a special ceremony held at environment ministry. Environment Minister Thorig Ibrahim signed on behalf of the ministry while MD of MWSC Fazul Rasheed signed on behalf of MWSC.
Speaking to the press the minister said that this project is funded through the PSP budget and should be finished within 15 months.
