Islamic Ministry of Maldives have said that they are thankful to the services provided to the pilgrims by the Saudi government.
The ministry further said that Maldives will always be with Saudi Arabia in their efforts in protecting the religion of Islam and Islamic creed. Also that Maldives wishes to further improve the brotherly relation between the two countries.
In addition, the ministry said that Saudi Arabia has always been a close friend to the Maldives and is always helpful to the people of Maldives. Moreover, the statement by the ministry says that Saudi Arabia is the land where all Muslims have to go to complete one important pillar of Islam and Saudi government accommodates all Muslims in Saudi very well.
Even now Saudi Arabia is conducting a massive project to make Masjid Al Haram bigger so more people can be accommodated there. In addition, they give excellent security, transportation and health services to the pilgrims.
The ministry thanked the King of Saudi Arabia Salman Bin Abdul Azeez for keeping a close relation with the Maldives and its people.
