Islamic Ministry have decided to celebrate Eid at a massive scale this year. Islamic Ministry will conduct a special program called “Eidun Saeedun” to celebrate Eid. Under this program several activities will be conducted.
The first activity will be performing Eid prayers in large congregations in Male’, Hulhumale’ and Villimale’. In addition, the prayers will be performed in 24 mosques in Male’ area.
After that, teams from the ministry will distribute gifts to patients at hospitals and children and orphanage center. Moreover, children’s evening will be held on 13th and 14th of this month at Rasfannu. Special activities will be held on the social center stage as well.
These programs will be conducted by Islamic Ministry in association with Jammiyathuh Salaf and other such organizations.
Coordinator at Islamic Ministry Mohammed Ahsan said that they will distribute leaflets at the children’s events to raise religious awareness.
More than 7000 gifts will be distributed in the whole program. Gifts were donated by well-wishers. Those who wish to help with the program can help by calling 9879969 and giving their names.
