The Imaam at today’s Eid prayer have said that, it is a responsibility of the parents to up bring their children and that there is no use in talking about discipline problems without doing it.
Delivering the sermon at the prayer Sheikh Haisham showed example from Prophet Ibrahim’s life about how responsible parents must be.
He said that when Allah commanded Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice Ismail, Prophet Ismail obeyed Prophet Ibrahim. He said that this happened because of the upbringing.
Without showing any excuses Prophet Ismail asked Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice him as Allah commanded. And he said that he will show that he has patience.
The sheikh said this type of character can be witnessed only with proper upbringing of children. He also said that a lot of problems in the society can be solved if children are raised in the ways Allah has commanded us to do so.
