Eid prayers in Male’ was performed at Maafannu stadium. Number of people in this year’s prayer was less than last year because a lot of people went to other islands for the holidays.
The prayer was led by Sheikh Haishan Mohammed.
Eid prayer was attended by top state officials including the Chief Justice Abdullah Saeed, Home Minister Azleen Ahmed and Housing Minister Dr.Muizzu.
The three of them met and shook hands with a lot of people after the prayers. Some people were disturbed because they could hear the sound of prayers from MNDF mosque.
