Advanced pediatric life support training conducted in Male’
An advanced pediatric life support training has been conducted in Male’. This program was conducted by HPA in association with UNICEF, IGMH and the Australian Advanced Pediatric Life Support.

The training started on 13th September and ended today. At the closing ceremony of the training, the CEO of IGMH Brigadier Retired Farhath Shaheer said that this program will increase the capabilities of medical staffs who work in the medical care of infants and children.

He said that even though that this time the program was conducted for medical professionals in Male’ area, the next time they will conduct the program within the atolls as well.

Pediatric life support training teaches how to stabilize infants and children who are in critical conditions. This program was attended by 20 people.
