President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a message of felicitation to the King of Saudi Arabia, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, on the occasion of the country’s National Day.
President Yameen also conveyed National Day greetings to the Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and the Deputy Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud, in separate messages.
The President’s message to the King of Saudi Arabia reads as follows:
“As Saudi Arabia celebrates its National Day, it gives me great pleasure to extend on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, warmest congratulations to Your Majesty, along with my best wishes for good health and happiness. I also wish the fraternal people of Saudi Arabia further progress and prosperity under Your Majesty’s wise leadership.”
“I would like Your Majesty to know how much I value the close brotherly Islamic bonds uniting our peoples, as well as the fruitful cooperation and effective solidarity between our countries. I look forward to continuing to work with Your Majesty to strengthen our relations and fulfill the aspirations of our peoples, for the benefit of the entire Muslim Ummah.”
