MTCC wins a national award for employing the most number of disabled people
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has won national award for employing the most number of people with disabilities in Maldives.

The award was handed to MTCC by Vice President Abdullah Jihaad, in a ceremony held this morning to recognize those who serve people with disabilities.

Speaking to Miadhu News, the CEO of MTCC Mr. Ibrahim Ziyath said that they have employed 7 people with disabilities and that their jobs are permanent. “Around 2 months ago we made their job status as permanent” said Ziyath.

In addition, MTCC has offered to employ 2 recovering drug addicts as well. In addition, they plan to hire one more recovering addict as an intern.

Home Minister Azleen thanked, MTCC saying that MTCC is the most responsive company when government asked to provide opportunities for recovering addicts.
