Fisheries Minister Dr. Muhammad Shainee have said that the government will try to start dialogue with opposition parties with a renewed hope. Dr.Shainee heads the representatives of the government in the dialogue with opposition parties.
Speaking to Miadhu News Dr.Shainee said that the government has extended an open invitation to the opposition and they always have the option to hold dialogue with the government.
“Government does not intend to lay out pre requisites or a set an agenda for the dialogues, the government did not change their stance and the opposition still have all the options as before” said Dr.Shainee.
Dr.Shainee highlighted the importance of starting the dialogues as soon as possible so that solutions can be found for the grievances of the opposition.
Government invited the opposition for dialogue even before, but the opposition refused to take part in dialogue after giving the government a set of demands.
CMAG released a statement two days ago urging the opposition to take part in dialogue with the government without any demands. Opposition have now said that they are ready to start dialogue.
