Leading Hotelier and Investor, in Maldives Champa Hussein Afeef has said that the shareholders of Treetop Investment wishes to further develop the country. He said this while speaking at the opening ceremony of Commercial Bank of Maldives. Mr. Afeef is the chairman of this new bank.
Mr. Afeef assured that the Commercial Bank of Maldives will provide all the services needed for businesses. He also said that they will help small businesses and those who want to start new businesses as well.
“Treetop Investment wants to develop the country. That is why we opened this bank. We are making a modern hospital in Hulhumale’ as well” said Mr. Afeef.
He also said that because of the Moody’s credit rating of Maldives, the economic and financial sector of Maldives has progressed. “Because of this Maldivian financial and economic sector has risen to a new level” said Afeef.
In addition, Afeef assured that the Commercial Bank of Maldives will do everything in their capacity to develop Maldives financially and do everything possible to further development of the country.
Mr. Hussain Afeef was the first manager of Maldives First Resort, Kurumba Village and Meeru Island Resort, Mr..Hussain Afeef is now among one of the largest investors in Maldivian tourism industry .
