The Chancellor of Islamic University Dr. Muhammad Shaheem Ali Saeed and the President of Omani Shura Majlis Khalid Bin Khild Al Mawwali held discussions today at the Parliament Building on how Omani educational institutions can assist the Maldives Islamic University.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, Dr.Shaheem said that the meeting was an introductory meeting and they discussed about getting assistance from Omani educational institutions.
“He assured that he will work to get Omani institutes to help IUM. We are trying hard to get assistance from educational institutes in Islamic countries. We hope to get technical and other forms of assistance” said Shaheem.
The President of Shura Majlis is scheduled to visit the Islamic University tomorrow.
