Administrative Staff College of India and Civil Service Commission has signed a memorandum of understanding to train staffs on fields related to public administration. The MOU was signed by the President of CSC Dr. Ali Shameem who is on an official visit to India.
Dr.Shameem is visiting India on an invitation by the Administrative Staff College. He departed to India on 27thSeptember.
A similar MOU was signed with CSC and the Administrative Staff College on 2014 as well. The MUO was renewed this year and there will be more focused and wide range of courses this time.
Dr.Shameem was accompanied by the Training and Development Director of Civil Service Training Institute Fathimath Habeeba.
ASCI India, shall assist CSC to develop training programmes and materials required by CSC Maldives, and help its curriculum developers/trainers to develop new programmes and materials or adapt ASCI programmes and materials for CSC use," according to the MoU.
Prof Paramita said ASCI shall assist in organising exchange of experts and consultancy service as needed by Maldives Civil Service apart from sharing information, research publication and experiences generated by the institution.
