Cornerstone laying ceremony for a modern health center has been held in Hinnvaru Island of Lhaviyani Atoll. During the ceremony, an ambulance was given to the current health center of Hinnavaru.
The cornerstone was laid by Health Minister Abdullah Nazim. Also the ambulance was officially handed over to the Health Center by Minister Nazim.
The construction work of the health center was contracted to Swift Engineering. The agreement was signed by Health Minister Abdullah Nazim on behalf of Health Ministry and MP Saudullah Hilmy on behalf of Swift Engineering.
Minister Nazim said that the government is carrying out a lot of projects for the development of Hinnavaru. He highlighted some projects like water systems project. “President Yameen’s government is well aware of the needs of the people of Hinnavaru. With God willing, all these needs will be delivered” said Minister Nazim.
The people of Hinnavaru gave a warm welcome to Minister Nazim and the delegation with several cultural items. Hinnvaru is the native island of Minister Nazim.
