Maldive Gas is now celebrating its 17th anniversary. It is also 17 years since Champa Abdullah Saleem has been serving as the board member of the company.
Abdullah Saleem did important work even during the formation of the company. Even now he is an important member of the company.
Abdullah Saleem is the General Manager of the Male’ offices of various Champa resorts. Saleem said that doing various jobs is not a problem. He said that, everything will go smoothly when you oversee and monitor the staffs after assigning them some work.
Abdullah Saleem also served in Male’ Municipality for 28 years. “I served the government for 28 years. I was asked to step aside for a bit and now I have stepped out” said Saleem.
Abdullah Saleem joined the workforce at the young age of 13. When he was in grade 7, he used to work in family resorts during school holidays.
In addition to Maldive Gas, Saleem is also the board director of many of the companies owned by Champa brothers.
Abdullah Saleem is the son of, Champa Abdul Sattaar, the elder brother of richest Maldivians, Champa Hussain Afeef and Champa Muhammad Moosa, mostly known as Uhchu.
Abdullah Saleem is a man of few words and despite how rich his family is he shows humility and no sign of arrogance at all.
