Discussions have been held between Maldives and Saudi Arabia on areas where Saudi Arabia can assist Maldives. In addition, talks were held to see in which ways Saudi Fund can provide aid to develop fishing and small and medium enterprises in the Maldives.
The discussions were held between the Chairman of Saudi Fund Dr.Yousuf Al Bassaam and President Yameen Abdul Gayyoom, during Dr.Bassaam’s visit to the president this morning at King Saudi Guest Palace.
Today’s meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr.Mohammed Asim, Minister of Economic Development Mohammed Saeed, Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture Doctor Mohammed Shainee,
The state minister at the President’s Office Mohammed Naseer, Maldivian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Abdullah Hameed and the International Spokesperson at the President’s Office Ibrahim Hussain Shihaab.
