Minister of Defense and National Security Adam Shareef Umar has met the governor of Maldives Monetary Authority MMA Dr.Azeema Adam.
During the meeting held at Defense Ministry, the Minister and the Governor discussed on ways in which MMA and National Counter Terrorism Center can collaborate to work against financing of terrorism.
In addition, they also talked about raising awareness on issues like money laundering and terror financing.
The meeting was also attended by senior officials of National Counter Terrorism Center.
