Maldivian government has thanked the Saudi Arabian government for their hospitality and assistance towards President Yameen and the high level delegation of Maldives who went to Saudi Arabia on an official visit last week.
Fisheries and Agriculture Minister Dr.Muhammad Shainee, who took part in the trip, said that through this visit they got the assurance that the relations between the two countries are becoming stronger day by day.
He said that during the official talks between Maldives and KSA, the KSA’s delegation was headed by King Salman Bin Abdul Azeez himself, And this shows the importance given to Maldives by the King and the brotherly relations between the two countries.
During the visit, the Deputy Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohamed Bin Salman Al Saud paid a courtesy call on the President. In the meeting, he assured that they will maintain the strong relations between the two countries and will assist Maldives in different ways.
Several Ministers and high level officials of the Saudi Government met with President Yameen and held talks to discuss on ways which they can assist Maldives and strengthen the relation between the two countries.
