The Thailand-Maldives joint trade committee meeting has begun in Male’ today. This meeting is being held at Hotel Jen. The purpose of the meeting is to get ready for the ministerial segment which is going to be held tomorrow.
In this meeting, there will be discussions regarding increasing investments and businesses links between the two countries.
In the ministerial session of the meeting, Economic Minister Mohammed Saeed and the Commerce Minister of Thailand will participate. Also, in the margins of this meeting, Maldivian businesses and Thai businesses will hold a business matchmaking session. This session will be held in Dharubaarugetomorrow.
The business delegation that came to Maldives to participate in this event includes hotel suppliers, jewelers, construction material providers, spa products and around 30 food production companies.
