PPM’s Vice President Abdul Raheem Abdullah have said that; they are not trying to remove Maumoon from the position of party president.
Speaking at a press conference held by PPM PG group and PPM’s council members, PPM PG Leader Ahmed Nihaan also assured that no PG member is involved in any activity like that.
Abdul Raheem said that it is important for everyone, including President Maumoon to work together to win the 2018 presidential elections. He said that hence he does not want to talk about winning the election without Maumoon.
PPM’s council member Mohammed Hussain Shareef said that the important thing is promoting the achievements of this government, and using that to win the elections.
