PPM has taken part in a press conference with opposition parties today. The press conference was held to raise concerns about the Election Commission’s decision to withhold party funds.
The Deputy Secretary General of PPM, Aleem said that he took part in the conference as an administrative staff and it was decision of the party president Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom.
The VP of PPM Abdul Raheem Abdullah said that PPM is the ruling party and that PPM should not take part in activities organized by the opposition. He said that act was not done in accordance with the party rules and regulations.
The press conference was held at Mookai Hotel and led by Anas Abdul Sattar of MDP.
