Keep political opinions aside till the elections. Till then work according to the workplace ethics: Junaid
CEO of MPL, Muhammad Junaid have asked MPL staffs to keep political opinions aside till the elections and asked to work according to workplace ethics and discipline.

Speaking to the staffs of Kulhudhuhfushi port, Junaid said that he is well aware that many staffs of MPL, especially the staffs in Kulhudhuhfushi do not support the ruling party PPM. He said that even still, he will not ask any staff to change their political alliances.

Junaid said that he knows that previous managements of MPL has forced the staffs to follow one particular political party. He said that however those are not principles and methods he believes in and thus will not force the staffs to do anything of that sort.

Junaid said that the staffs should always respect the government, no matter who the ruling party is. He said that the staffs should accept that there will be various consequences if the staffs take part in anti-governmental activities. “Look at what MDP government was doing. Those who did not support MDP were fired from their jobs” said Junaid.

Junaid said that he will try to treat the staffs as good as possible and that he will not do this based on the party affiliation of the staffs. “ I think staffs will always look at their personal development and improvements and the development of the nation. There are 500 different developmental projects going on all over the country. Which government was able to do it? The staffs of MPL will benefit in various ways too. I am working day and night to do this” said Junaid.

Junaid said that it will take some time to put everything in order since MPL was heavily mismanaged in the past. He assured the staffs that he will make the company profitable and bring about personal developments to the staffs as well.
