PPM’s Vice President Abdul Raheem have said that they will hold a council meeting of PPM tonight at 9:00 pm and that they will invite President Maumoon to the meeting.
However, he said that, Umar Naseer, Faarish Maumoon and Naadiraa cannot take part in tonight’s meeting.
He said that tonight’s meeting will be about managing PPM activities, preparing for the upcoming local elections and also about electing a new secretory general to the party. The position has been vacant for months now after the previous SG resigned.
Abdul Raheem said that they do not have any plans to remove President Maumoon from the position of party president, in tonigh’s meeting. “we are not going to discuss about Party president tonight. Neither we have plans to remove him from the post yet.”
