The Civil Court order on PPM to hand over the governance of PPM to President Yameen is to be appealed.
President Maumoon’s son Faarish Maumoon said that they are trying to appeal the verdict as soon as possible.
The verdict by the Civil Court today states that, according to the party by laws, PPM should be governed with the policies set by the party council, but that Maumoon is governing the party not based on the agenda set by the council.
The verdict also states that the President of the party can create advisory committees with the consent of the council, and all other committees formed without the approval of the council will be invalid.
Civil Court ordered to hold a council meeting of PPM within 24 hours.
The Civil Court order on PPM is to be appealed.
