PPM’s President, Maumoon is conducting a meeting at PPM office right now. Some members of MDP and PPM has gathered near the office in support of Maumoon.
Some attendees of the meeting include MP for Nolhivaram Hussain Areef, MP for Thimarafushi Musthafaa and Ghassan Maumoon the state Minister at the President’s Office.
According to some media outlets, Maumoon is conducting the meeting with 11 council members.
The PG leader of PPM Ahmed Nihaan Hussain Manik said that it is questionable that MDP members are gathered near PPM office with PPM members. He said that however, they are not concerned or worried about it.
Previously, President Nasheed said that Maumoon has joined the opposition. However, Maumoon condemned those allegations.
