The development of Maldives is connected to the Port: Junaid

The CEO of MPL, Muhammad Junaid have said that the development of Maldives is connected to the port and everything will develop when the services given by the port increases in quality.

Speaking at a ceremony held this morning top open the Leisure Zone built by MPL for cargo clearing laborers, Junaid said that in addition to the general goods, from IV bottle for patients up to tooth pick, can easily be available when the port develops.

“All the materials needed for developmental projects all over the Maldives, are imported into the Maldives via the port. So the development of this nation is very well connected to the services we are able to provide at the port” said Junaid.

He said that this government is bringing in more vehicles to the port, and expanding the harbor area of the port for this reason.

He said that soon they will get new vehicles for the port and with these new vehicles, the efficiency and speed of the works of the port will increase by 90 percent.
