Chief of Defense Force Major General Ahmed Shiyam has paid a courtesy call on the President of Nepal, Bidya Deyvi Bandari, during his official trip to Nepal.
In the meeting with the President of Nepal, Major General Shiyam discussed on ways both the countries can collaborate in terms of developing the military.
In addition, Major General Shiyam also met with the Defense Minister of Nepal, Beem Raval and the Chief of Army of Nepal, Staff General Rajendhura Chetry. In these meetings also Major General Shiyam discussed on increasing the capacity of Maldivian National Defense Force and how both countries can help each other.
