Elections Commission have said that they will recognize PPM as ordered by the Civil court.
Speaking to Miadhu News, Vice President of EC Ahmed Akram said that if a court orders or makes a verdict on anything, EC will act based upon that.
“Hence in dealing with the current problem in PPM, we will act based on the orders of the Civil Court” said Akram.
Akram said that they did not answer to either factions of PPM because the letters they sent had nothing they should answer to. “Those letters contained information for EC. So it is not necessary to send replies to such letters” said Akram.
Speaking about the issue of Dr.Khaleel being appointed as the SG while being a council member, Akram said that according to the information he received, Khaleel has resigned from his position in the council prior to his appointment as SG.
