Parliament has today given approval to the newly appointed ambassadors to Germany, Singapore, Thailand and Bangladesh
The non-resident Ambassador to Republic of Singapore is H.Meenaz, Hamdhoon Abdullah Hameed. His name was passed with 49 votes and 2 members did not vote either way. The non-resident Ambassador to Kingdom of Thailand is MA.Resting House Fathimath Inaaya. She was given approval with the vote of 49 members and 3 members did not vote either way.
Aishath Shaan Shaakir of G.Penzymaage was appointed as the Ambassador to Bangladesh. She was given approval by all the 48 members who took part in the vote. In addition, Jameela Ali of H.White Diomand was appointed as the Ambassador to Germany. She got approved with the votes from all 50 members who took part in the vote.
