Maldivian Foreign Minister Dr.Mohamed Asim have met with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on the sidelines of the 43rd Foreign Ministerial Council of the Organization of Islamic cooperation (OIC) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
They discussed on ways to strengthen relation between the two countries, on political, economic and tourism related fields. In addition, they exchanged views on supporting nominations at the elected bodies of international institutions.
They also had talks on the agenda of Foreign Ministerial Council of OIC and the regional issues of mutual interest.
