Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer has been appointed as the Vice President of PPM. Till now he was heading the financial affairs of PPM. In addition, MP for Villifushi, Riyaz Rasheed and MP for Dhangethi Ilham Ahmed has been appointed to the party council.
These appointments were made in a council meeting chaired by President Yameen who is also the Chief Advisor of the party. The VPs of PPM are now Abdullah Abduh Raheem and Moosa Zameer.
However, Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom has removed Abduh Raheem from the position and appointed Mohammed Waheed Ibrahim and Aminath Naadira to the position of VP, in a council meeting chaired by Maumoon.
