JP has decided to hold talks with various parties, for the stability of the nation.
Speaking to Miadhu News after a meeting of the party’s advisory committee, the Deputy leader of JP Dr.Hussain Rasheed Hassan said that, there are various issues within the government of which people are greatly concerned about. He also said that a lot of people believe that the judiciary is also in need of immediate reform.
He said that hence, the people wants to solve these problems quickly, JP has taken the initiative to meet different parties and also those who are interested in meeting JP are also welcome to meet JP.
“We have requested to meet the government also without any demands. We will meet with political parties, and NGOs as well. If there are factions within the parties, we will talk with different factions even. We will talk with key individuals too. The aim is to talk with as many people as possible” said Dr.Hussain.
When asked if JP has decided to work with any specific party, Dr.Hussain said that they did not make any such decision. “Since we are not in the ruling coalition, we have decided to work as an opposition party. We have not decided to work with any specific party” said Dr.Hussain.
