Research conference held in Villa College by the Research Center of Villa College today, has ended.
25 presentations on 6 different areas were presented during the conference. Participants presented on areas such as, business, psychology, education, Islam, tourism, culture, policy, law, environment and technology.
The best presentation was given by Aishath Hassan who presented on psychology, education and development.
In addition, posters were presented from four different areas. The first place was won by the poster presented by SHE. It was a thalassemia related poster.
In the closing ceremony of the conference certificates were given to the Winners, participants, moderators and all others who assisted in hosting the conference. Certificates were presented by the rector of Villa College Dr.Ahmed Anwar.
Senior figures of Villa College also gave presentation during the conference. However, their presentations were not judged.
With this conference, Villa College earns the honor of holding the first ever research conference in Maldives by an educational institution. Also, Villa College is the first College in Maldives to start researching on various areas
