Electro Metal Pressing Private Limited of Sri Lanka has been contracted to supply electronic cables needed to fix the electric grid of Dhihdhoo and Kendhikulhudhoo.
After signing the contract, the MD of Fenaka Corporation Ahmed Shareef said that under this project 2300 meters of cables will be installed and cables needed to supply electricity to 250 houses will be procured.
Shareef said that the cost of the total project is 4.2 million Rufiyaa and the cables will be received within 30 days. He said that they are giving a lot of importance to this project because, they need to bury the cables before the streets of Dhihdhoo are tarmacked.
Shareef said that, they are procuring cables for Kendhikulhudhoo because the LV network cables in the island has to be replaced. He said that 2.76 million Rufiyaa will be spent on that project. He said that these cables will be supplied within 30 days as well.
