Hitachi contracted with establishing a water plant in Hulhumale
Hitachi Aqua Tech has been contracted with establishing a 3000 tonne water plant in Hulhumale.

The project has to be completed within 7 months. The total cost of the project is 1.5 million dollars.

Speaking at the contract awarding ceremony CEO of MWSC Ibrahim Fazul, said that this water plant will supply the water needed after the second phase of Hulhumale is developed. “Hulhumale project is given a special attention by President Yameen. That’s why we want to provide the water needed for this area by 2018” said Fazul.

Fazul said that even though the contract gives 7 months, they will start working soon and try to finish it even before that. “Even now we are installing the engine of the water plant. In the next two months we will complete that work” said Fazul.

The MD of Hitachi Aqua Tech Mr.Turn said that in the last 2 years MWSC has achieved a lot and because of that, the spirit to work together has increased. He said that he hopes to start wonderful projects together with MWSC.
