High Court of the Maldives has sent a summon order to prominent lawyer Husnu Suood.
Suood said that he got a chit asking to be present at the court at 10:00 am tomorrow and that it did not specify the reason.
Suood was a former attorney general in MDP government and at the moment he is representing former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.
Maumoon appealed the civil court order to hand over PPM administration to President Yameen, and Husnu Suood was in the legal team of Maumoon along with former PG Muizz.
After High Court decided to uphold the ruling of the Civil Court, Husnu Suood expressed concerns saying that the decision of the court was biased.
