Adam Thaufeeg the Deputy Economic Minister of Maldives have said that Maldives has always been an easy place to do business and that the government aims to inform foreign investors the opportunities in Maldives in a modern way.
Speaking to the press, Adam Thaufeeg said that so far this government has hosted two investment forums in Singapore and Beijing both which were very successful.
He said that the government will give importance to the tourism sector in the investment forum to be held in India. He said that the government will inform about the opportunities in that sector to the foreign investors. “If we look at the tourism industry there are various opportunities for investors. We will reveal these opportunities at the investment forum”
If we look at the tourism industry, Indian companies like Taj has already invested in the industry. The resorts run by Taj in Maldives are among the most successful resorts in Maldives.
