Efforts to bring prosperity to Maldives is successful: President Yameen

President Yameen have said that the efforts of the government to bring prosperity to the country is a success and that the results can be seen.

He said this while speaking to the people of Hdh Kurinbee, at the opening ceremony of the newly developed harbor of the island.

He said that the work done to protect the sovereignty of the country is also a huge success. He further said that the government has successfully distanced from those organization who try to unjustly punish Maldives because Maldives is small. In addition, he said that the government’s effort to develop a disciplined society is also becoming a success.

President said that the opposition is always concerned about something destructive in nature. “They are always worried because criminals are punished. They complain because the fine for slandering is high. They don’t consider the fact that crimes are committed by few people and because of these people the greater society is getting harmed” said the President.

President said that those who want to make the government accountable never talks about the developmental projects government is doing for the people. He further said that they never talk about how we can perfect these projects. President also said that the opposition never talks about the notable achievements in the health and education sector.

President urged the opposition to work responsibly for the development of the nation.
