MPL is in a terricle situation now: Will re-develop the company: Junaid

The CEO of MPL Muhammad Junaid have said that even though MPL reached its 30-year anniversary the company is now in a teriible situation. However he vowed to redevelop the company.

Speaking at a ceremony held to mark the 30thanniversary of MPL last night Junaid said that it is difficult for him to say it was golden 30 years because MPL is not in a good shape now and no one is happy with the services of MPL.

He said that he knows the company is 30 years old but he cant be proud of it. “ Because we are not able to provide the necessary services to our customers. The ships that should be cleared within 1 day takes 16 days to be cleared. Which company will provide logistic services at a cheap price if the situation is like this. If a ship is stuck at the port, for each day they will incur a loss of 50,000 dollars. So how will anyone bring in goods for a cheap price. So there were many problems in the past 30 years.” Said Junaid.

He further said that MPL has capable staffs and the real problem is that the company was not managed well. He said that the company was making less profits because profitable resources of the company were parked.
