Male water and sewage systems upgrading project will be completed by 2018 : Fazul

CEO of MWSC Ibrahim Fazul have said that by 2018 the redevelopment project of Male’ water and sewage will be completed. He said that after the project is completed people will not face the many difficulties they are facing now.

Giving information about the project to the press, Fazul said problems like leakage of sewage during rainy season and low supply of water to high rise buildings will be resolved once the new system is completed.

He said that the new system is designed aiming to cater for 300,000 people instead of the current 170,000 people only.

Fazul said that the work of the project will be carried out by the company staff and 75 million Rufiyaa will be spent on the project within a three-year span.
