The VP of PPM, Abdul Raheem Abdullah have said that Maumoon withdrew his support to the government long time back and kept it hidden from the public. Abdul Raheem made this statement at a press conference held by PPM this afternoon.
He said that Maumoon spoke in support of President Yameen and the government at a rally held by PPM earlier this year. Abdul Raheem noted that Maumoon asked everyone to stay behind President Yameen and the government.
Abdul Raheem said that, hence his decision to withdraw support was not spontaneous but was done long time back and kept it hidden until now. Abdul Raheem said that the PPM rally that is planned for 4th November will show much support President Yameen has at the moment.
