The Imaam of Islamic Center, Sheikh Mohamed Latheef have said that the Islamic Ummah is being fragmented because muslims are not following Shariah properly.
Sheikh Latheef made this statement giving a religious lecture after Fajr prayers at Islamic Center today.
Sheikh Latheef said Muslims will win by following Islam properly and asked everyone to stay committed to the religion. Sheikh reminded that Allah says in the Quran that those who are committed to the religion will be successful and Muslims should believe this. He further said that, Muslims are brothers and Muslims should not do anything that will disrupt the brotherhood.
He said that Allah’s party is one and all these ‘other’ parties came much later. Sheikh further said that if we corrupt our minds with other ideologies then there is a great chance of being divided. Sheikh said that hence muslims should not give way to such ideologies. “There is no higher command than the command of Allah. No higher relations than the relations of Islam. Islamic bond is stronger than the bond of family” said Sheikh Latheef. He further said that if one Muslim is does right by the other muslim, the whole ummah would strong and as one.
The key point of the Sheikh’s lecture was being just and doing right by others.
