Islamic International University of Malaysia IIUM has agreed to assist Islamic University of Maldives in various fields. An agreement between the two universities was signed in a ceremony held last night.
Dr.Muhammed Shaheem Ali Saeed the Chancellor of IUM signed on behalf of IUM while Zuleykha Gamarudeen the rector of IIUM signed on behalf of IIUM.
As per the agreement, IIUM will assist IUM in researching Halaal food, finding supervisors for post graduate courses at IUM, providing discounts to students and staffs of IUM at IIUM, conducting seminars and workshops together, helping to train academic and administrative staffs of IUM, researching, publishing books, publishing an academic magazine, conducting workshops regarding halaal food, and providing counsel related to halaal food.
Even now IIUM assist IUM in various areas.
